Disability and Wellbeing Network
The Disability and Wellbeing Network (DAWN) supports disabled staff who work at the University by providing staff with a space to talk openly about disability, and to work with the University to ensure disabled voices are heard.
What we do
The Disability and Wellbeing Network provides the following:
- Social events to get to know other disabled staff throughout the University.
- Work with HR and other services, through the Co-Chairs, to contribute to the development of policies and practices to ensure that disabled staff receive all necessary support and have a positive experience.
- Campaigns to highlight disability and to champion the successes of disabled staff.
How do I join?
The Disability and Wellbeing Network uses the social model of disability and any member of staff who identifies as disabled or chronically ill can join.
To join the network please email us at disability-and-wellbeing-network@bristol.ac.uk. You’ll be added to the mailing list to receive details of upcoming events and socials, as well as any relevant news and information.
