Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
You can wear appropriate swimwear as you would for a general swimming session, including swimming goggles. Glasses and all jewellery, including rings and stud earrings, must be removed for safety reasons. We have lockers available in the changing rooms (please bring a padlock) if you need to store any valuables.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive on site 15 minutes before your session start time, and it is essential to check-in in the reception area (there will be a member of staff there to meet you). This gives you time to be ready for the safety brief.
Unfortunately, if you are late arriving and miss the safety briefing, you will not be able to take part in that session.
Can anyone do the Mission Inflatable?
A swim test of 25 meters unaided needs to be completed at the start of the session.
Mission Inflatable is not recommended for participants who: are pregnant, have neck or back problems, heart problems or have had recent surgery. You should consider your physical condition and limitations - and those of any children you are responsible for - before deciding to participate.
What if a member of my party has special needs/concerns?
Please tell us and we’ll do our best to ensure that they get the most out of the experience with no hassle or fuss. We can accommodate most customers with disabilities, so please let us know of any mobility restrictions or additional needs.
Do I have to stay with my child during the session?
Please ensure that children in your care are supervised in the pool as follows:
- 1 adult to 1 child under 4 years
- 1 adult to 2 children aged 5-7 years
- Under 8s must be accompanied in the water by an adult
How busy will it be?
The maximum number of participants per Mission Inflatable session is 30, so numbers will range from 0 to 30 at any given time.
