Residential Facilities

The Residential Facilities teams handle the day to day operation of our extensive portfolio of student accommodation.

The University owns 19 Halls of residences with circa 4,000 beds. The University also has contract agreements (lease and nominations) for a further 21 properties, providing over 4,600 beds. Learn more about our residences on the Accommodation Office's webpages.

Residential Facilities Management

The Residential Facilities Management team keep all University-owned residences running smoothly – repairing and replacing broken and damaged items, keeping communal areas clean and carrying out room inspections. We are also responsible for the refurbishment programme for University-owned residences and manage our residence parking policy.

Residential Facilities Contracts Management

The Residential Facilities Contracts Management team manage the relationship with the University and our accommodation partners. We monitor compliance with the contract agreements, particularly in relation to health and safety and service level agreements. We share guidelines and best practice to ensure a consistent student experience across all partnership and university owned accommodation.
