Asset Maintenance

The Asset Maintenance team provides a comprehensive service which delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across the University estate.

Who are we

The multi-disciplinary team consists of Building Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Fire Safety Compliance Officers and Administrators. We're also supported by a range of specialist consultants.

What we do

We are responsible for the end to end delivery of minor Faculty projects and the maintenance strategy for the physical asset structure. We support stakeholders to scope and develop project briefs. We also lead and are responsible for the collection of data and information relating to the buildings we use. This is to ensure accurate strategies and forward plans can be developed to keep the property portfolio in repair.

Generic Project Requirements

The Generic Project Requirements set out the matters that are important to the University. Designers must ensure completed projects meet these requirements, as well as relevant regulations, standards and agreed best practice. Staff can view the Generic Project Requirements on SharePoint.
