Our Facilities Management team delivers the highest service to academic and professional services staff based within the University's properties, ensuring: 

• there is a pro-active facilities management service in every building;
• all areas of each building (regardless of occupier) are properly managed, with particular regard to the provision of Health and Safety systems;
• all building occupiers have access to a responsive and customer-focused Campus Division support network.

Our teams

Estates Assistants

Estates Assistants (EA) are based in lodges which are located in the majority of large University buildings. We are responsible for a range of duties including: welcoming visitors, answering building queries, undertaking fire alarm and compliance testing, dealing with access and keys, and liaising with contractors.

Security Services

Security Services operates 24/7/365 across the entire University Campus. We aim to ensure that staff, students and visitors are provided with a security service that enables teaching, learning, living and recreation to take place in a safe and secure environment. We are committed to being a place where everyone feels safe, welcomed and respected.

Our cleaning staff are responsible for keeping all buildings across the University estate clean.
