Find out how disability services can support you

What are disability services?

Disability services is run by the University to help students who might need extra help due to physical or mental health problems. They can also discuss special arrangements such as exam arrangements with you.

The Disability Service supports students confidentially with a wide range of disabilities, learning difficulties and other health and mental health conditions.
You do not need to see a doctor to access disability services, but sometimes they will ask you to speak to a doctor to confirm what problems you are having, as we do not share information with the University without your consent.
You might be able to get free help with equipment, extra time in exams, a support worker or other adjustments to help you achieve your potential.
