Asset Maintenance
The Asset Maintenance team is responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of projects to ensure the University's physical assets remain in good working condition, are safe to use and perform efficiently.
Who are we
We are a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Building Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Fire Safety Compliance Officers and Administrators. We work together to deliver more than 200 projects a year.
What we do
We ensure the reliability, efficiency, and longevity of the University’s physical assets. This includes machinery, equipment, facilities and infrastructure. Our team optimises asset performance through preventive and predictive maintenance. This approach minimises risks and supports operational goals. We also ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
By managing the full lifecycle of assets and using energy-efficient, sustainable practices, we reduce costs and enhance operational resilience.
