On 14th October 2023 hundreds of Children of the 90s participants from across the south-west gathered at M Shed, Bristol to hear about the study’s impact. The Discovery Day was an opportunity to hear directly from the researchers working on data from our world-renowned study.

The event marked the study reaching its third decade and brought together all three generations of participants to celebrate. Researchers gave talks about their discoveries on picky eating, maternal mental health and menopause. Founder Professor Jean Golding OBE talked about the study’s impact and her experiences with television presenter Ali Vowles, while Principal Investigator Professor Nic Timpson outlined future plans and hopes for the next decade.
