Reception is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, call +44 (0) 7925 434 938.
You must complete the accommodation induction before you arrive.

Access to the building
You can access this residence with a key fob.
Bike storage
The bike storage area is located on the lower ground floor. There is limited space available for bikes. To access the bike storage, you need to update your key at reception.
Bicycles must not be brought into the house/flats due to fire regulations. Any bicycle found in the building, including in bedrooms, will be removed.

Catering options
This residence is self-catered, but food and drink packages are available to purchase.
Cleaning, recycling and rubbish
You are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of your accommodation. The Student Cleaning Expectations and Guidance document has some helpful information on what cleaning products to use and how, so you know what to do to ensure your accommodation is cleaned well and that you are maintaining a healthy environment.
The flats will be cleaned every two weeks by staff.

Recycling bins
Recycling bins are located in the courtyard and on Lower Lamb Street.

Fire assembly point at Harbour Court
The assembly point for Harbour Court is at the top of Lower Lamb Street, by the Central Library loading bay.
Fire alarm testing
Fire alarms are tested every Thursday at 11 am.
First aid
First aid boxes are located at the reception in Harbour Court and in the West Village Support Centre.
You should report an accident or near miss to the West Village Student Support Centre so we can take steps to prevent it from happening again.

Insurance
Basic personal belongings are insured as part of your accommodation contract.
Check your policy and arrange additional cover if required.

- Connect the ethernet cable from the device to the wall socket.

Add additional devices
- On the new device, log into myaccount.ask4.com.
- Select Enable this device.
If you do not have a web browser on your device, you can add your device's MAC address at myaccount.ask4.com to get connected instead.

Laundry facilities and costs
Each studio flat has its own washer-dryer. Each cluster of flats has its own washing machine and tumble dryer.
Laundry facilities are located in the shared kitchen.
Prices
The cost of these facilities is included in your accommodation fee.
You need to bring your own washing powder or tablets.
Drying clothes
You should not dry wet clothes in your room. This causes condensation and mould which can cause health problems, including some potentially serious lung infections.
Lost keys or locked out
If you are locked out, contact reception and a member of residence staff will be able to let you back into your room. You will need to show your ID.

If on-site staff are unavailable, contact Home for Students security staff on the security number, which you can find at reception. A member of the team will be available 24 hours a day.
If you have lost your key fob, go to reception with your ID to get a replacement. The cost of a replacement key fob is £25. If you lose the metal post box key you will be charged £10.
Lost property
Lost property will be kept at reception. Any unclaimed items will be disposed of within one month.
Parking
There is no parking available at Harbour Court.
E-scooters
The University does not permit the use of private e-scooters and they must not be brought into residences or stored in bike storage areas.
Post
Your address and where to collect post
The postal address is: Your name, your flat/room number, Harbour Court, 10 Anchor Road, Bristol, BS1 5TP.
Letters will be delivered to your letterbox. Parcels delivered by a courier will be delivered to you directly if you are at home. The courier will use the intercom for your flat and deliver parcels to reception. You will be notified of the delivery and will be asked to collect and sign for your parcel. Reception cannot store special deliveries or large items.
If you are not at home, the Homes for Students accommodation team will accept and sign for deliveries. You will be notified of the delivery via the portal. Bring ID to reception to collect your parcel.
Rent and tenancy dates
The dates of your tenancy and total accommodation fee can be found in your tenancy agreement in the Accommodation Portal.

Request a repair
All repairs and maintenance requests must be reported by:
- contacting reception in person,
- phoning +44 (0)117 325 9459
- or by emailing harbourcourt@wearehomesforstudents.com to add your query to the system. You will then be able to log into your Homes for Students portal and report the maintenance issue
Damage
If you break or damage something in your residence you need to report it to us.
If you don't tell us, it will be picked up at the end of your tenancy and you may be charged for the repair.
Social spaces and facilities
The social spaces are the common room and the courtyard. The common room is located on the ground floor.
The common room and courtyard are open all hours.
Wellbeing support
Our health and wellbeing services are available to all students in need of mental health, disability and medical support.
