I am a cultural and political Geographer, and Master’s researcher with the City Futures group at the Cabot Institute. I am interested in critical cartography, decoloniality and feminist theory, political ecology, and posthuman spatialities.

I’m currently applying a participatory GIS methodology to investigate how interactive, web-based mapping tools enable the public to contribute place-based knowledge as qualitative spatial data, and join in the ever evolving, often expert-led, discussions around ecological resilience in a more-than-human city. I’m hoping to pilot this methodology as a way to understand and visualise resident’s perceptions and desires of urban ecologies and their management, for more inclusive and just environmental politics in Bristol.
