Family and couples accommodation

We have some University accommodation for students who are in a couple or have young children.

Couples accommodation

Postgraduate students who are in a relationship can apply to live in a studio or 1-bedroom apartment. There is one shared double bed.

You can apply if:

  • both members of the couple are students
  • or one member of the couple is a student and the other member has a 'no recourse to public funds' stamp in their passport.

We cannot guarantee an offer of couples accommodation, due to limited availability.

If you meet the terms of our accommodation guarantee and we cannot offer you couples accommodation, we will offer you a single room instead.

Postgraduate students can tell us on their accommodation application if they would like to request a double occupancy room.
