This Essential Training module provides an overview of our university's approach to EDI, introducing you to equality legislation and key university policy, and equips you to support us in building a truly inclusive university community.

Everyday Exclusions: Understanding and Managing Racial Microaggressions

Learn what unconscious bias is, why it matters, and how being aware of our biases and challenging them can help to support EDI. 

Being Anti-Racist

This work brings together a host of resources for managers and colleagues in the University to help enable conversations and change around racism and actions we can take to challenge cultures and inappropriate behaviour. (UoB staff access only)

TheirStories is a regular and popular event, using personal storytelling as a vehicle for building workplace inclusion, improving employee engagement, challenging bias, countering stereotypes, and developing a culture of belonging.

Being Anti-Racist: ACT
