Surgical innovation is a dedicated focus within the Bristol Centre for Surgical Research. This is realised through collaborating on the surgical and orthopaedic innovation theme of the NIHR BRC.

 

The theme aims to develop novel surgical and orthopaedic devices and procedures, improving patient care and outcomes, creating patient-centred, transparent systems for surgical innovation. Examples of research projects are below:
