Employer-led skills sessions
Equip students with the right skills to best prepare them for the recruitment process and the professional workplace. Support students to apply and compete within your sector and share insights into your selection processes. Feedback suggests that students respond well to employer-led sessions when the content is applicable across multiple sectors.
Focused on student development, skills sessions are free to run and open to all University of Bristol students.
Email us if you would like to discuss delivering a session

Online communication channels
This year, we have created some new ways for you to engage with our students online.
Feature in our newsletters
We have a space dedicated to employer activity and events in our fortnightly YourCareer newsletter that reaches over 33,000 students, as well as opportunities to feed into bespoke emails to key student groups
Contact email@example.com to discuss your options.
Send a target email
Target emails have proved to be an effective method to improve application numbers for vacancies and increase event sign-up. Target up to 6 departments or schools within a specific year group to get the right information to the right students. Prices range from £60 to £360 (incl VAT)
Write a guest blog
The Careers Service blog is made up of expert careers advice and student and graduate stories. It receives over 46,000 views a year and is one of the most visited areas of our website.
If you have a University of Bristol alumnus or recent graduate in your company, ask them to write a guest blog for us. It is an excellent opportunity for them to give insight into your sector, share top tips to their peers on getting into the industry and touch on their university experience and how it prepared them for life after Uni
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how to write a blog with us.

SME Internship Scheme
Our SME Internship Scheme supports smaller organisations to provide valuable internships to our students.
What matters to our students?
Our students are engaged and proactive and care about making a positive difference in society. We’re exploring how we can work with you to share your approaches with our students.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion
Our students actively seek out diverse and inclusive organisations when researching the types of places they would like to work. If you are proud of your organisation’s work around diversity and inclusion, please contact us to talk about how we work together on events this Autumn.
Over 500 students attended our Sustainable Careers Spotlights in Spring 22, proving that careers in sustainability are a key area of interest to our students. We look at ways to highlight and focus on organisations making a difference in these areas through our main Autumn events. Please contact us if you would like to be included.
Are you an SME?
Our students want to meet employers of different sizes. We offer great discounts to smaller organisations and a dedicated team to offer advice on the best ways for you to engage.
Please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Host an intern
We support start-ups and SMEs with funded internships under our SME Internship Scheme.
