Chi Yien Snow
Chi Yien Snow is a painter who works in acrylics and oils to capture the spirit of her subjects. Using bold yet loose brushstrokes, she looks to express the emotion of her paintings whether they are portraits or landscapes, giving shape and colour to things that can’t always be seen.
We collaborated with Chi Yien Snow as part of Cabot Conversations which features ten conversations around climate change with leading academics from different disciplines and an artist who creates a piece of art as they interpret what you're listening to.
Cabot Institute for the Environment experts Dame Julia Slingo and Professor Dann Mitchell discuss "What is the Climate Emergency?" while artist Chi-Yien Snow shares a powerful artistic interpretation of the conversation.
