Catered or self-catered?

Catered accommodation includes breakfast and an evening meal Monday to Friday with a breakfast/brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Our catering service offers varied menus including a vegetarian option at every meal and our food is locally sourced wherever possible. There are small pantries in all catered residences where you can prepare a hot drink or light snack. Some of our self-catered residences also offer a meal card option, which entitles you to the catering package.

Room types

Studios

Studio apartments are small, self-contained flats with their own bathroom (shower, basin and toilet), kitchen area, study space and sleeping area. Studios are popular with Chief and Senior Residents as they offer privacy and autonomy, while still being part of the University of Bristol community. All our studios have the same rent, and some are suitable for couples.

En suites

En suite rooms are grouped into flats, and offer more chance to mix with your fellow residents, as separate kitchen/diner is shared with other students. En suite rooms have a sleeping area, study area and bathroom (shower, basin and toilet). Our en suite rooms have a number of rent levels, based on the age of the property and the number of people sharing a kitchen.

Standard Single

Standard rooms are also grouped into flats, with a shared kitchen and shared bathroom facilities. Your room will usually contain a bed, clothes storage such as a wardrobe, and a desk and chair for study. Our Standrd Single rooms have a number of rent levels, based on the age of the property and the number of people sharing the kitchen and bathroom.
