The
Angry:
As a member of the deaf
community and a confirmed and resolute user of BSL, this person is angry at the way in
which hearing professionals seem to misunderstand deaf needs. There appears only to be lip-service to BSL and
certainly no involvement with the deaf community. There
is no real awareness of the agenda for deaf people. As
a result this person seems to be dissatisfied continuously with the attitude of the team
and even with other deaf people in the team. This
person does not feel there has been much change in deaf-hearing relations despite the
better salary which is being paid. |
