A car parking space would be allocated to the user and their permit would allow them to park in other University car parks as necessary. The permit holder would have to pay for the permit but the University would reimburse the member of staff the equivalent cost of a pay & display ticket for the days when the used their car and claimed mileage allowance - Modified.
Departmental reserved permit (Paid by department) There are currently 50 staff with departmental reserved permits, whose permits will be abolished with no replacement. Some current Departmental reserved permit holders may be eligible to apply for a Essential User permit, if they fulfil the necessary requirements - None.
