The Whitehead prize is awarded annually by the London Mathematical Society.

Dr Erlandsson, a leading figure in low-dimensional geometry, topology and dynamics, has been recognized for her outstanding work on curve counting on surfaces and for establishing an extraordinary rigidity theorem for bounce sequences associated with billiard tables.
