The Athena Swan Charter is a framework which is used across the globe to support and transform gender equality within higher education and research. The team responsible for the School's self-assessment consisted of Ayavaldi Ganesh, Jos Gunns, Andrew Hogg, Henna Koivusalo, Anna Muller and Richard Porter.

This Silver Award is recognition of the efforts of many individuals but also of the School collectively, in supporting and promoting gender equality in the community.
