Recent policy updates
In October 2024, we made minor changes to five policies. The changes are outlined below.
1. Outsourcing and third-party compliance (ISP-04)
- Minor change to section title
- Minor changes to update links.
2. Information handling (ISP-07)
3. Network management (ISP-12)
- 2. Scope - expanded to include 'who' the policy applies to in addition to 'what'
- The term 'staff' expanded to 'staff and authorised third parties' to include partners and any other third parties that would manage network on behalf of the University
- Updated roles and team names
- Minor text clarifications.
4. Software management (ISP-13)
- Updated team names
- 3.4 Software regulations: added reference to Acceptable use policy
- Text clarifications in sections 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7.
5. Investigation of computer use (ISP-18)
- Updated job titles
- Minor text clarifications and updated links.
