Accommodation Information

‘In Any Event UK’ is the conference agency handling all registration and accommodation bookings. Participants will be accommodated in several hotels at different price categories in Bristol. All hotels are located within the city centre area and are close to the conference venue. Please note that rooms will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. You are therefore kindly requested to indicate on the registration form three hotels by order of preference.

All hotel accommodation must be paid for upon departure. A valid credit card number must be given when making your booking as this is required to guarantee your booking. Please ensure that your credit card will still be valid at the time of the conference. We are unable to make any accommodation bookings without a valid credit card number.

Please contact 'In Any Event UK' on: +44 (0)117 925 7100 or registration@inanyevent-uk.com to make any changes to your accommodation booking. You will be charged for any accommodation booked through In Any Event UK which, is not subsequently cancelled with In Any Event UK prior to the conference.

In the event of late cancellation of your hotel (within one week of the conference), the hotels reserve the right to charge your credit card the value of one night’s accommodation.

Transportation from and to all hotels will be provided in the morning and evening to and from the conference venue, as well as for the social events. A bus time table schedule will be made available in the reception area of your hotel for reference. You will receive your own copy at the conference registration desk upon registration.

3* Georgian hotel situated just off Park Street. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Bedrooms have satellite TV, trouser press, hairdryer, tea / coffee making facilities. Limited parking is available in the hotel garage. The hotel has a lift. It is approximately a 5 minute walk to the conference venue.

Brigstow Hotel ****

Bristol's newest four-star hotel, situated in the heart of the city with an attractive riverside frontage. The Brigstow Hotel has 117 superb bedrooms, half of which overlook the river. The hotel has a lift and also boasts a unique dining concept, Elipse. It is approximately a 30-minute walk to the conference venue, part of which is uphill.

3-star hotel in the centre of Bristol overlooking the waterfront. The hotel has 186 bedrooms with colour TV, hairdryer, trouser press, tea / coffee making facilities. There is a restaurant and Quayside Café. Parking is in the adjacent NCP Car park. Overnight parking is free for residents. Lifts available. It is a 20 minute walk to the conference venue, part of which is uphill.

Marriott Royal Hotel ****

This four-star hotel, with a Victorian façade, is situated on College Green, next to Bristol Cathedral & adjacent to Bristol’s historic Waterfront. For dining there is the stunning Palm Court restaurant with Bath Stone arches and stained glass roof. Alternatively there is the Terrace Restaurant, which offers a more informal atmosphere. The hotel has a Roman theme indoor leisure centre with Health & Beauty Salon. It is approximately a 10-minute walk to the conference venue, part of which is uphill.

A two-star Victorian hotel with 50 bedrooms situated on Victoria Square in Clifton. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Bedrooms have direct - dial telephones, tea / coffee making facilities, colour TV and radio. There is a small car park at the rear. No lifts and limited disabled access. It is approximately a 15-minute walk to the conference venue.

The Washington Hotel **

A two-star hotel guests have use of the restaurant and bar facilities in the Clifton Hotel, which is next door. Bedrooms have colour TV, satellite, hairdryer, tea / coffee making facilities. There is free parking in adjacent streets. No lift. It is approximately a 15-minute walk to the conference venue.
