Known issues in Blackboard

This section provides information on the known issues with the Blackboard 9.1 service pack (SP) 14 software and the additional functionality (building blocks), both open source and proprietary, that make up the University of Bristol's Blackboard.

All issues on this page have been raised with UoB IT Services technical support or the relevant software vendors' technical support staff. Please do not report these issues to us. Wherever possible we will include:

• Dates for the release of software upgrades/service packs (SP) that fix these problems
• Our timescales to implement these fixes (which may require downtime and the use of the replacement service)
• Ways of mitigating the impact of the issues - referred to here as workarounds
• A record of fixed issues - for reference.

The issues on this page have been reported to us as causing an impact on a number of users - other problems, while monitored by TEL support, will not be shown on this page. Unless otherwise stated, issues will not affect student users.
