International students

We have a small but high-achieving group of international students on our courses, who are well supported by the School, by the University's international support team, and by the large, mixed network of international and UK students across the University. We strongly encourage and welcome applications from international students.

Undergraduate courses

Find out more about all the courses available at the School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine.

International students can find full details about applying to and studying at Bristol, including entry requirements, country-specific information, visa information, finance and fees, accommodation and summer schools.

To support our international students the University of Bristol Global Lounge is a multicultural hub set in the heart of the campus, and is open to all students and staff.  It has two key functions, firstly to bring home and international students and staff together through a vast range of social events and cultural celebrations. Secondly to support international students during the arrivals period, helping them settle into Bristol and university life with a range of welcome events and activities.

In addition the Bristol Students Union has its own international student network to join, they also host a selection of events for international students throughout the year.

Intercalating degrees at CMM

The School welcomes all intercalating medical, dental and vet students on to our courses in Cellular and Molecular Medicine.  As an intercalating student you will join our current third-year undergraduates, with the highlight of the year conducting a research project.

I chose to study Cellular and Molecular Medicine, specifically Cancer Biology and Immunology. The program was exactly what I was most interested in, so it was an easy decision. I really enjoy my course, and it has become even more interesting over the three years...I would definitely recommend Bristol to other students from the USA

Cara Bray (USA) (BSc Cancer Biology & Immunology)

Although the thought of pursuing university studies so far away from home was intimidating at first, I can safely say that choosing to study at the University of Bristol has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Nikolaos Koundouros (BSc in Cancer Biology and Immunology)
