The Campus Building Systems Team enable innovative solutions to Campus Division’s challenges through the development, implementation, and support of digital technology.
What we do
The Campus Building Systems team is responsible for the governance and risk of all Divisional systems and the development and growth of Campus Systems to support the needs of the Division. This incorporates the integration of relevant systems and the reduction of system duplication.
We are the liaison between Campus Division and IT Services. We support teams with different systems projects, in addition to managing our StarRez and Planon systems to provide a range of services to the Division and wider University.
The Campus Building Systems team are responsible for:
- Planon, our Integrated Workplace Management Solution and single source of truth for building information
- StarRez, our student accommodation system
- desk booking
- working with teams across Campus Division and IT Services to implement new services and systems
- developing SharePoint and Power Automate solutions for Campus Division
- the Campus Division Building Information Management Plan
- MazeMap, our digital wayfinding solution for the University.
