During the Cabot MScR, I had the chance to combine my environmental geoscience consultancy skills with my passion for renewable energy to work on research that I am passionate about. This project also gave me the flexibility to design my research, allowing me to tailor the research to my preference.

Coronavirus and your research

While starting a Master’s should be an exciting time we understand that enrolling in a research project in the current global pandemic presents new, unprecedented challenges.

The University of Bristol are regularly updating information for current and prospective students which details the University’s comprehensive COVID-19 response. As the MScR in Global Environmental Challenges is a research led programme there are no formal taught units and students are not required to be on campus unless it is necessary for supervision or conducting practical research. Our series of training and networking events will continue to be delivered over Zoom or equivalent digital platforms allowing us to offer a high standard of personal development training as safely as possible.
