Feedback cafe
Improving assessment literacy and dialogue between staff and students.

The BILT funded Feedback Cafe is run as a stall in the Atrium of the Life Sciences Building.
The Cafe is a drop-in service - students don't need to book an appointment.
We advertise the Cafe through the weekly student newspaper, with a reminder email each week the Cafe is running.

"I felt like I had a better idea of what exactly to do better in my next report. I found it especially helpful that I was able to show my actual report and get very specific feedback on particular parts of my report and discuss how to push my marks even higher."

Cafe Bio
These sessions are currently being held every Wednesday from 11:00-12:00 in the Life Sciences Building Atrium, giving a space for students and staff to meet each other and give time for students to ask questions over tea and biscuits! Many Cafe Bio sessions will have an associated activity, such as a guest speaker, allotment session, drawing sessions and more.
