The Unit & Programme Management System (UPMS) is used for creating new and editing existing units and programmes. The System is the primary way for Schools to manage unit availability in SITS and programme and unit information that is published in the Programme and Unit Catalogue. It is essential the information in UPMS is kept up to date. It is used to inform other key processes, including timetabling, online unit registration, exam scheduling and processing, and progression and awards.

If you need to withdraw a programme, please complete the Programme Withdrawal Form (Office document, 81kB) and send it to approval-help@bristol.ac.uk
If after reading the guidance and using the resources on BEAM, you are still having problems using the UPMS, please contact approval-help@bris.ac.uk. It may be possible to arrange some one-to-one help and deal with specific issues.
Please contact approval-help@bristol.ac.uk if you need any data reports from UPMS. We are in the process of moving from Business Objects to PowerBI for reporting and will be producing standard reports for Schools/Faculties very soon.
