The University of Bristol Performance Sport offer has grown and developed over the last 5 years:
We've been a Top 10 BUCS University for the last 5 years and have a prestigious Alumni sporting heritage which includes, Olympians, Commonwealth Gold Medal Winners and England representation across a range of sports.
We aim to provide a competitive, holistic, scholarship programme for student-athletes, which includes coaching, mentoring and support services.
We allow talented athletes to continue their sporting journey, whilst studying at the University.
We create partnerships with National Governing Bodies and professional sports clubs in order to provide joined-up programmes that allows our talented athletes to achieve academic and sporting success.

We offer between 10-12 VC Scholarships per year which range between £1,500-£3,000. These are offered to new student-athletes who are performing and competing at an International Level. The application process for interested athletes start in December each year and runs until the end of March (applicants must have chosen Bristol as their first choice University to receive a scholarship).
We offer 25 athletes the opportunity to be part of our Performance Squad, which includes a free Gym Pass, strength and conditioning sessions (2 x week), Nutrition/Sports Psyche 1:1’s, sports medicine support and individual mentoring. The Performance squad application process is open to new and current students and starts in December and ends in August each year.
If a student receives a VC scholarship and is also invited to be part of the Performance Squad, the total value of the scholarship can be as much as £6,000.

Harry Jeavons Rugby Scholarship – awarded annually each year to students on the Rugby programme.
