Following the successful first and second round of the Bio-E initiative, the Universities of the West of England, Swansea, Cardiff and Bristol have agreed to continue supporting this activity under SARTRE to promote multidisciplinary translational research.
We are launching a third call for cross institutional collaborative pilot projects that look to translate innovative research in Computation/Mathematics, Bio-Sciences, Marterial and Engineering sciences allied towards bio-medical applications.
The seed corn funds will have a funding cap of £12,500 per project, per University (applications need to be multi-institutional). The project will need to be completed by 1st December 2014. Please note is not possible to include costs for the appointment of new staff under these pilot projects.
