Microsoft Teams consultation

Microsoft Teams is a new tool that was rolled out to the University in April 2020, and many of us around the University have already started using it to communicate with colleagues.

We are now considering how to best support the use of Teams for educational purposes, and are looking for some pilot projects to explore its use for online teaching and learning when teaching begins in September. Teams is a great way to interact and collaborate with your colleagues or students. However, we already have a wide number of tools that we currently manage and so would recommend thinking about how you are wanting to use Teams in your teaching and whether it is the most suitable approach.

If you think MS Teams would work well for your teaching in September please complete this form to tell us what you hope to use Teams for, and what kind of support you might need.

Alternatively, you can email digital-education@bristol.ac.uk or join us for a drop-in session if you would like a more informal initial conversation about your ideas.

For any technical queries you have with Teams please contact the IT Training Team. If you are interested in setting up and learning more about using Teams you can find information on the University Office 365 Support page, or you can book onto one of the University Staff Development Courses focusing on Getting Started with Microsoft Teams.
