Burrington to Long Ashton (via Butcombe and Felton)

1. From Burrington village, go east along A368 and turn left at the old station house into Ashey Lane.
2. Take 2nd right into Emley Lane, which later becomes Aldwick Lane.
3. Turn left at the T junction into Blagdon Lane, which becomes Mill Lane in the village of Butcombe. Keep left into Yew Tree Batch.
4. Go all the way up the hill, and fork right near the top, merge left into Thrubwell Lane.
5. Cross Green Lane and later Kingdown Road, continue up Long Lane onto Felton Common.
6. Bear right across the common, to reach the end of Felton Street.
7. Down the hill, cross the main road (West Lane) at the George and Dragon in Felton, and go up Stanshalls Lane, which becomes Dial Lane and leads to the A38.
8. Turn right, but stay on the right-hand-side pavement, until you reach the B3130 (Barrow Lane) junction.
9. Cross the A38 to the left, and take the car-free Hobbs Lane to Barrow Gurney.
10. Straight across- take Wild Country Lane to Long Ashton.
