The University encourages staff wherever possible to car share for the journey to and from work.
The University of Bristol car sharing scheme is a free web-based ride-matching platform developed specifically to help staff find one or more car share companions. All staff can register and benefit from this scheme.
Car sharing teams are matched on several criteria including postcode, route to work, working hours and personal sharing preferences.

Staff working on the Clifton Campus campus can also apply for a specific Clifton Campus UoB car sharing parking permit, and benefit from 30 days’ free parking provided by the University for each member of a formal car share team (except the lead driver).
