Bristol SU Volunteering Fair, 1st February 2018

The University of Bristol Students' Union held its annual Volunteering Fair in the Anson Rooms on 1st February 2018 and was attended by around 600 students.

This free event was a chance for students to discover hundreds of volunteering opportunities with over 50 local, national and student-led organisations present including The Bristol Bike Project, Friends of Blaise and Bristol Libraries.

The event supported organisations from the Bristol area and beyond to reach out to potential student volunteers. It helped to build relationships between students and the city by starting conversations with the wider local community.

Students were able to find out about how to get involved with University run initiatives such as Bristol Green Impact Labs as well as with volunteering projects being run by other students such as the Grow Group, Roots Community Gardening and Tea and Chatter. Details of all the student-led volunteering projects can be found on the SU website.
