The day was packed with sunshine, slow worms and sweat as our enthusiastic volunteers worked together to conserve this important wildlife haven in south Bristol. This was a welcome respite for students during the exam revision period and gave them the opportunity to speak to professionals in the environment sector for advice on their career.

The Environment Agency research team wanted to work in partnership with students to hear more about their experiences and expectations of internships, ahead of their recruitment round for summer interns.
