Year in industry funding

If you live in England or Wales, financial support is available for your placement year. You can borrow the reduced tuition fee for this year and an amount to go towards living costs.

Students from England or Wales

You should apply for funding as you have done before, stating on your application that you will be taking a sandwich year. You will also need to state where you are living. Your funding provider will assess the application and decide on the funding you are entitled to. Make sure you check the deadlines for when to apply for funding.
