Photomarathon - Lockdown

23 May 2020, 9.00 AM - 25 May 2020, 8.00 PM

We want to get you showing us your creative side through the lens of your camera. What better time to do it than now! So we will be hosting a lockdown edition of Photomarathon on 23rd-25th May, which you can participate in from inside your own homes. Head over to the Staff Social Photomarathon page to find out more about how to enter, and what to expect on the day. All are welcome, you just need a device with a camera-digital, mobile phone etc- and then upload your photos for everyone to enjoy! Don’t be afraid to get friends and family involved!

What is a Photomarathon?

A Photomarathon is a photography competition with a bit of a challenge: you have to take photos of a number of themes in the correct order over a dedicated time period. The dilemma is if you reach theme four and you see something that would capture theme two, do you delete the themes that you’ve already taken and start again from theme two, or ignore it and carry on...

To enter, simply visit the Staff Social Photomarathon webpage on Saturday 23rd May to collect the 5 photo themes. Once you’ve taken your photos, submit them to staff-social@bristol.ac.uk before 8pm Monday 25th May. After the Photomarathon, all the images will be collated and displayed on the Staff Social website for all staff to see!
