A massive thank you to all the psychology PGRs and staff for the fantastic PGR conference. A special thanks to our PGR presenters for their excellent talks and posters, showcasing the incredible breadth and depth of research in our school.

The Troscianko Prize for Outstanding Excellence in Presenting Research at the PGR Conference has put on the spot three of our student:

  • Poster: Gendered reasons for occupational exit cognitions among early career engineers - Fabiola Dorn, PhD, Year 3,
  • MScR talk: Managing emotions after witnessing an online situation involving racial discrimination - Amira Watson, MScR, Year 1,
  • PhD talk: Dopamine in Tear Fluid can Predict Sensitivity to Self-Related Stimuli in Baseline Recognition Memory Paradigms (Preliminary Data) - Eden Kartar, PhD, Year 1.
The best staff contribution goes to Claire Haworth for her insightful questions and comments that enriched the discussions throughout the day.
Lastly, a big thank you to the organising committee, our PGR reps, the Psychology Team, the PGR Faculty Team, Dani, and Liv for their help in organising the conference and their support throughout the day.
