Prof. Bruce Hood previously featured in an article for "The Guardian", which has been mentioned in a recent write-up by "El Espanol", discussing why children become so attached to toys and comfort blankets.  

Bruce previously told the guardian:

"If there were a machine that copied a favorite object in every way down to the atomic level, we would still prefer the original. It has an essence. This experiment suggests that this is an intuitive process".
