Professor Munafò said:
“I am both honoured and excited to be taking on the role of Chair for the NMHB. Having served on NMHB previously, I know the importance of the work it does and the research it supports.
“I’m particularly looking forward to two aspects of the role. One is being able to contribute to the direction and strategy of the Board, and the wider MRC. Another is helping ensure we support and recognise not only rigorous research but also the people who conduct it and the environment in which it takes place.
"At an exciting time for the sector, I hope I can make a positive contribution.”
Congratulations Marcus.
