Psychology Academics Shortlisted for Bristol Teaching Awards

The Bristol Teaching Awards (BTAs) recognise and celebrate those staff who have made an outstanding contribution to teaching, the provision of support for students, and enhancing the student learning experience. The scheme also aims to provide an opportunity for reflection on our collective achievements in supporting teaching and learning in this most challenging of years.

The Bristol Teaching Awards (BTAs) recognise and celebrate those staff who have made an outstanding contribution to teaching, the provision of support for students, and enhancing the student learning experience. The scheme also aims to provide an opportunity for reflection on our collective achievements in supporting teaching and learning in this most challenging of years. Students and staff are invited to nominate relevant individuals or teams in the award categories. 

We are delighted to announce that Peter Allen, Senior Lecturer, from the School of Psychological Science has been nominated for the 'Inspiring and Innovative Teaching' award. Martin Bunnage, Alex Milton, Aida Moses, Kit Pleydell-Pearce, David Turk and Ingram Wright (Teaching delivery team for the Postgraduate Neuropsychology Programmes) have also been nominated for the 'Inspiring and Innovated Teaching' award. 

A huge congratulations to Peter, Martin, Alex, Aida, Kit, David and Ingram for this very well deserved nomination. 

The BTA winners will be announced at the Bristol Teaching Celebration on Wednesday 16th June, 2pm – 3:30pm. The celebration is a formal opportunity for all associated teaching and learning staff to be thanked for their contributions this year, all staff (including all BTA nominees) are invited to attend.
