BCFN alumni, Dr Nicolette Moreau, has had a paper published in ACS Synthetic Biology, entitled “Direct Transfer of a Mycoplasma mycoides Genome to Yeast Is Enhanced by Removal of the Mycoides Glycerol Uptake Factor Gene glpF”. This paper was based on work Nicolette did during her BCFN first year international visit to the Craig Venter Institute in California. The international visits that BCFN students undertake are a vital part of their training to become global, interdisciplinary scientists, and we’re delighted to see how successful Nicolette’s visit was.
