The Bristol Centre for Functional Nanomaterials celebrated its collaboration between science and technology on the 18th December 2017, by hosting the Materials for the Industries of Tomorrow conference.

The event highlighted the discoveries made and the technologies delivered by the BCFN to UK companies, and offered networking opportunities with an audience of technology companies, entrepreneurs and investors from across the UK, as well as talks from KCMC and Innovate UK. 

Current industry-funded PhD students from the BCFN presented their work in the planetarium and spoke about the highlights of working on an industry-specific PhD project.
