The Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training (QECDT) have announced their open day for prospective students. It will be held on December 7th in the Bristol Nanoscience and Quantum Engineering Building within the University of Bristol.

The QECDT was established in 2014 as part of an EPSRC training initiative to bring together diverse areas of expertise to train engineers and scientists with the skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle today's evolving issues, and future challenges. It merges a taught first year with a traditional three year PhD research project giving students the opportunity to develop knowledge across all aspects of Quantum Engineering before choosing a research project at a number of partnering universities and industry.

If you have an interest in Quantum Engineering and are interested in joining the QECDT for your PhD then we recommend signing up to attend the open day on the 7th December. For more information about the programme please check out their website or watch their short video taken at last year's open day.
