Aidan, Tom, Erin and Jerry ready to set off on their journey.

17 September 2015

Physics undergraduate student Aidan Cassidy will be part of a team of cyclists who will cycle 1,000 km to raise money for a Manchester asylum seekers' charity. The team began their cycle ride on 6 September in Macedonia at Lake Ohrid, and will ride to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

WAST (Women Asylum Seekers Together) supports women often in vulnerable situations - isolated, traumatised, in ill health, facing destitution, homelessness and deportation.
