Science Festival in Newcastle
Beccie Whitaker, PhD student at CQP, has been invited to take part in an event at the British Science Festival in Newcastle 9th of September 2013 called 'You heard it here first'. Early career researchers have been hand picked to talk about their work to a public and media audience and people vote on the one they are most impressed by as the next big research area in science, technology and engineering. Beccie was awarded with the prize from press and media for "Which will have the greatest effect on your life". Congratulations Beccie!
