Professor Michael Berry receives his honorary doctorate

  Professor Michael Berry was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Yerevan, 'For his remarkable contribution to identification of the role of geometric phases in quantum and classical physics'.

Professor Berry is Senior Research Fellow and Melville Wills Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Bristol.
