The ensembles below are run by either the Department of Music or the Bristol University Music Society and are open to students across the University. 

How to join

Admission to many groups is entirely open, with information on how to join available at the Music Society stall at the Freshers Fair at the start of each academic year, and posted in the Octagon at the Victoria Rooms.

Auditions

Some groups require an audition. This is noted in the relevant group information, with further instructions on how to audition. This is your only chance to audition for the present academic year, so we always encourage you to sign up early.
