Online
Finding quality texts to support your dissertation isn't always easy. Databases are more powerful and advanced search engines than Google or Library Search.
In this online workshop you'll learn how to search with confidence for scholarly literature using the library databases.
We'll cover:
- identifying key search terms and expanding these using synonyms
- using effective advanced search techniques, such as Boolean searching
- filtering, saving and exporting your results
This session is intended for all students from across faculties.
The workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams. A link to the session will be sent in your confirmation email.
