Digital 3D part one: 3D digitisation using handheld scanners
Augustine's Courtyard Ground Floor room G.09a
As a group, we’ll be using both hand-held structured light scanners and photogrammetry to capture real world objects and locations. This session will also cover the basics of 3D and look at how to share digital 3D models, once captured. No student equipment/software is required.
After completing this session attendees will be able to book out a 3D scanner from the library for independent use.
The workshop assumes attendees have little experience with digital 3D, though more advanced students are welcome to attend. Each session will have a capacity of 12x students.
To be facilitated by Library Digital Scholarship team.
